We're please to announce the start of our 2024 Thirst Thursday Season. The planned dates for this year's events are:
- 7th March: Dover.
- 4th April: Fingleham & Deal.
- 2nd May: Sandwich & Eastry.
- 1st August: Dover & Coldred.
- 5th September:Walmer & Deal.
- 3rd October: Temple Ewell, Dover & Walmer.
It's the ideal start to each month - visiting some of our great real ale pubs that featured in the 2024 edition of the Good Beer Guide.

There are six outings planned all of them are on bus routes, so there's minimal walking involved.

Details of each event will be published, on our website and Facebook page, a few weeks before the event.

The server hosting the actual content is a bit long in the tooth, so we need to move it. The data has already moved, so this should be simple enough...

The means to provide direct access to specific pages on a web site e.g. www.ambridgecamra.org.uk/festivals, rather than www.ambridgecamra.org.uk/viewnode.php?id=1234. For the moment friendly URLs must be added by an Admin (e.g. Andy Shaw). Please send a list of nodes and the link name to Andy.
Online pub guide Sunday 8 July 2012
A Google-based pub map and a list of pubs, both displaying a single pub entry in GBG style layout, with a detailed of of the pubs location, and with associated photos(s). The pub data is imported into BeerEngine from the WhatPub national online pub guide, so that anyone using one of the supported branch online pub database systems (HOPS, SPILE and PUBZILLA) or other supported methods of maintaining pub data, can upload their data to WhatPub and have an online pub guide in BeerEngine.

When editing content, change the "save" button to be "save" rather than "edit".

For download nodes, add a date property so that downloads (e.g. newsletters) can be listed in the correct order, same as events.

Add some basic layout to CSS for the image class, i.e. using [image:id=??,class=image] ... will apply to all images, so no customisation ... e.g. float left and wrap text around an embedded image.
